How to find us:
Disability Access Statement - July 2007: Broadlands Guest House is a late Victorian property, built in 1901, situated in the conservation area of Stratford-upon-Avon. There is a step up from the pavement and a further step up at the entrance to the property. Having been converted into a rooming house at some time during the 1930's, subsequently being upgraded to a 6 letting bedroom property with en-suite facilities, Broadlands is unable to accommodate guests who are confined to wheelchairs due to restrictions of space at the entrance and also in the hallway. Partially disabled visitors would need to be able to negotiate the stairs (17 to the first floor and a further 14 to the second floor) to their bedrooms. The staircases have a balustrade at one side and a ledge against the wall at the other. Neither the bedrooms nor the bathrooms (fitted with showers rather than baths) have grab rails due to insufficient space. The proprietors will afford every assistance to disabled guests where necessary - and this includes help at breakfast and evacuation procedures in cases of emergency for those who have difficulty in moving, seeing or hearing.
